About LouBo

LouBo started with a simple problem:

There are far too many perfectly good words in French and English that have not yet been combined into terrible jokes.

So we decided to do something about it.

LouBo is a small independent brand creating original designs inspired by Franglais, bilingual misunderstandings, food, pronunciation, culture and the strange things that happen when French and English collide.

Some ideas arrive fully formed.

Others begin with one of us saying something ridiculous and the other one replying:

“Unfortunately, that would work on a T-shirt.”

And here we are.

Made by us

Our designs are original and created by us.

No giant design department. No anonymous catalogue of thousands of graphics. No AI-generated artwork.

Just ideas, sketches, wordplay and an enthusiasm for jokes that probably shouldn't work in either language.
